Here are some ways technology can help you plan a perfect wedding.

Save Money

After you say yes to a marriage proposal is when reality kicks in. Let’s face it, the costs attached to various aspects of the wedding can sometimes take the romance out of the window. A wedding website is your opportunity to save a few hundred dollars on printing costs. If you have ever got invites printed, you would know how quickly the price would rise by just adding a few more words to the matter. So, direct everyone to your wedding site URL and save time, money, and effort.

Change of Plans?

No matter how much effort you put in to plan a perfect wedding, small changes and details will always take place as you continue to arrange and put everything together. If you are communicating with your guests through email or phone calls, you know how much time it will take. And god forbid, in case of a major change, it can make for one hectic bride. Whereas, with a wedding website, it takes not more than five minutes of your time to make sure everyone knows the latest.

Keep Track of Changes

Wedding websites can help you consolidate the information easily that you need to plan and organize your big day. You can take advantage of digital invites, track RSVP’s and keep a note of special requests if any. That certainly takes a lot of burden off your shoulders. Isn’t it?

Easy Access to Gifts Registry

Probably, you have already started making a list of items that you have purchased for setting up your new home; why not give your guests easy online access, too? Simply provide a “Registry and Gift Ideas” page and make it simple for everyone to prepare for your wedding.

It’s Eco-friendly

A wedding website not only helps to save cash on paper and stamps but also helps to reduce the carbon footprints by saving the trees. Whether you plan to go completely paperless by using your site for everything or just plan to request for eRSVP’s, every little bit helps. Read: Important Tips for Planning a Green Wedding

Share Your Love Online

One of the biggest advantages of creating a wedding website is that it provides extra comfort for those who are not certain about the couple.  By adding “Our Story” page, you can let everyone know how you met, how your fiancée proposed you, who are the bride, groom and their families.

Irrespective of the size of the event, a wedding website can be a handy wedding planning tool. It can help you concentrate more on important details and preparations for the ceremony. Plus, it’s free of cost. No harm trying!

Wedding websites are a necessity for the modern day bride. I would like to remind brides that a custom wedsite should also be considered. Your wedding isn’t really a time to skimp on the details. As a designer, I can attest to their affordability and ability to last a lifetime.
