After all the hard work you have you put into your wedding day, the last thing you want is to fall sick, have an upset stomach, or feel bloated and puffy as you walk down the aisle. Excitement, nervousness, and all other emotions that pop up on your big day are enough to deal with-you don’t want to add up to the problems by eating wrong foods. So, do yourself some favor and try cutting out these foods at least a week before your wedding day.

Sure, wedding planning may have you stressing, but junk foods like French fries, large pizza, and more will only give you a momentary lapse from anxiety. Since fatty foods slow down the digestion, you will be left feeling bloated around your waist once the sugar high is all gone.
Salty foods are a big no on the days leading up to your wedding day. Since sodium causes you to retain water, you will end up feeling heavier from all the water retained in your body.
While not everyone is sensitive to dairy products, they can turn out to be a menace at times, leading to cramps, bloating, and gas. So, keep the odds in your favor by cutting dairy products a week or two before your wedding day.
Champagne, soda, sparkling water- basically, if it contains bubbles, say no. These drinks with fizz are going to do the same to your body. The carbon dioxide they release will leave you feeling bloated and gassy all at once.
While a drink or two may seem like a perfect thing to calm your nerves and overcome pre-wedding anxiety, alcohol will only lead to dehydration, headaches, and of course hangover. So, save a toast for your wedding day and eliminate alcohol the days before.
In short, think healthy, low fat, high protein when picking foods to eat before your wedding day. While not everybody may be sensitive to these foods, it’s best to keep the odds in your favor!
